The fact this happen to three Bluetooth headsets, points to an issue with SFB and/or Windows. I checked with the volume meter of the PulseAudio. I connected a webcam with build-in microphone through USB to use for video calls, but although the video output is just fine, I cant get the mic to work in Skype (If relevant, my distro is Mint 9 Gnome 32bit). If I disconnect the SFB call and start a call again, I can use the Bluetooth handset's microphone again - for a few minutes. The build-in mic of my webcam does not work with Skype (but does respond to checks).
